The best iPhone 13 fast chargers at the lowest prices we can find

It used to be that you could get everything you needed for your new iPhone — a power adapter, USB cable, and a pair of wired EarPod headphones — right out of the box with your purchase. Unfortunately, those days are over. It is with the release of iPhone 12 series that all that changed. It was the first model in the line that did not include Headphones or AC adapter in the box, instead only equipped with a USB-C to Lightning Cable. And the most recent iPhone 13 models met the same fate. The Lightning cable is still very useful, offering the fastest charging speeds when paired with the right Apple iPhone charger, but you’ll still need a wall adapter to get a charge from an outlet. If you’re looking for a quality charger, whether you’re looking for an iPhone 12 charger or one for an iPhone 13, this list will guide you to the best iPhone charger for your needs.

Apples 20 watt USB-C power adapter sells for just over $16, about $13 less than its overpriced and discontinued 18-watt USB-C power adapter. But several interesting alternatives can be considered among the best iPhone chargers. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite Apple device chargers to boost your battery life. A few quick ground rules before you start:

  • You’ll need a charger with a USB-C port, or you’ll need a USB-A to USB-C adapter. At the prices below, you might as well get a new charger for your Apple product.
  • Chargers with USB-C or PD (power delivery) support can generally charge devices faster than chargers with USB-A ports.
  • Two ports are always better than one, allowing you to charge two phones at once, or one phone and an accessory like wireless headphones.
  • Higher power is better up to a point. But getting 18 watts or better will allow you to charge tablets and even a nintendo switch. Get 65 watts or more and you can charge most newer laptops too.
  • Many of these new chargers use a new, fast semiconductor material called gallium nitride, also known as GaN, which replaces the old, slow silicon chip. Chargers with “GaNFast” charge up to three times faster than traditional chargers – and they’re half the size and weight. They’re compatible with everything in Apple’s current lineup, from AirPods and the iPhone 12 all the way up to the big 16-inch MacBook Pro. However, they might not be optimal for an older iPhone model.
  • Each charger here can also power an Android phone (provided you provide a compatible charging cord or USB cable) as well as a Nintendo Switch.

Although there are a plethora of refill brands available, including some generic brands on Amazon that offer 20-watt USB-C chargers for as low as $12 for a three-packOverall we can recommend three brands of phone chargers: Anker, Aukey and RAV Power. All three have similar offerings at similar potency and prices fluctuate almost daily. Our latest Apple iPhone favorites are below, including some power bank (battery), wireless, charging stand, and car options. We’ve used all of these over the past few months (or their direct predecessors).

None of these include the new Apple MagSafe charger technology — an upgrade to the Lightning connector. It’s brand new and will have a price premium for the foreseeable future – don’t expect to pay under $39.

We’ve tested most, but not all, of these chargers with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13. We’ll update it periodically in our quest for the best iPhone 12 or iPhone 13 charger so you can find plenty to enjoy. stay. energized.

Note that in May and June, most RAVPower, Aukey and Mpow products disappeared from Amazon amid reports that the retailer was cracking down on fake reviews. Many of these products remain available at ravpower.com and aukey.combut their prices tended to be a bit lower on Amazon.

Nimble aims to make its products from recycled plastics and have no plastic in its packaging. Its Wally Mini is a dual-port 20-watt PD charger with fast-charging capabilities. You can charge two devices at once, but to achieve the maximum charging speed of your iPhone, you’ll need to connect it using a USB-C to Lightning cable (at the USB-C port) without having other devices connected to the USB-A port.

It has retractable pins, is quite compact, and also feels quite light. If you didn’t know it was made from recycled plastic, you might not guess it was.
