This homemade Glo Skin Beauty Peeling is closest to a professional

During the pandemic, several celebrities I interviewed told me that they relied on home peeling to keep their skin under control when they did not have access to the regular cosmetics they visit. I also relied on home versions of office tools (especially LED lights and microcurrent devices) and tried all Glo Skin Beauty Peeling Kits – GlyPro AHA Resurfacing Peel Kit won our Beauty Award 2021. The latest addition to this brand in the Peel Kit portfolio is the Beta Cleaning Kit. -Clarity AHA Clarifying Peel, which I recently tried in an effort to soothe excess grease and large pores that I have been struggling with lately. These are my thoughts.

My skin type:

Combination. I am drier in the cold months and greaser in the warm due to the high humidity on the east coast.

Advantages:

If you experience a rash or see too much greasy shine in the mirror (not the type of glow you were hoping for), this peeling is for you. However, it is not recommended for sensitive skin – these acids are no fun – so avoid if your skin is easily irritated. Speaking of acids, the peel contains 20 percent mandelic acid (alpha-hydroxy acid), and when mixed with salicylic acid (beta-hydroxy acid), the AHA-BHA combination exfoliates to remove all impurities from your pores and all dead skin cells. and excess sebum that has accumulated on the surface, making your skin look oily and dull. It also contains vitamin C to promote brightening. It gave my skin fresh, “your skin looks so healthy” and all the blackheads on my nose disappeared. (Note: This is a Level 2 peeling according to brand standards, so if you are starting with peeling, I recommend starting with a Level 1 peeling first, such as retinol + C smoothing peeling.)

What I like most about these sets is that they really provide you with everything you need to gain a professional experience at home, except, of course, someone else’s hands. From detergent to cotton swabs, every step is thoughtfully included and mapped for a hassle-free experience in the comfort of your own bathroom – it even comes with a spa headband to prevent hair from entering your face during peeling.

Key ingredients:

Mandelic acid, salicylic acid and vitamin C

What’s free:

Parabens, phthalates, sulphates and gluten

How to use it:

There are seven simple steps that the brand also demonstrated in this quick guide if you are a visual student like me. The whole process takes about 20 minutes. First cleanse with Purifying Gel Cleanser. Then apply Beta-Clarity Pro 5 Liquid Exfoliant using a cotton wheel and then apply Peel Prep using another cotton wheel. Use a cotton swab to apply the Barrier Balm around the eyes to protect delicate skin from the exfoliating solution. Apply Beta-Clarity AHA Clarifying Peel with an applicator and wait two to five minutes, depending on how your skin feels. Then apply Peel Neutralizer with gauze pads to deactivate the peel and finish by pushing Beta-Clarity BHA Drops into the skin.

As with almost every professional peel, experts recommend avoiding the use of retinol for several days in advance and exposure to the sun only after the skin has healed.

How is it:

My skin tingled a little when the exfoliating solution was on my skin, but I let it work for five minutes in the hope that I would achieve maximum results. My skin also turned red during the peeling, but it quickly shrunk and I didn’t feel any burning. Depending on your skin type, some persistent redness may appear, so it’s not a peeling that you’d like to apply the afternoon before a big event the same night, or even another day or two for sure. Not everyone will experience a real peeling – maybe some slight peeling or nothing at all – but I had a little over the next 48 hours, specifically around my mouth.

How it smells:

Like most peels, you can smell a bitter bitter, but it dissipates quickly.

Bottom Line:

If for any reason you want to avoid meeting an esthetician or you just want to act like your own and feel comfortable in your own environment, you must try this home peeling. My skin really shone and the effect it had on the appearance of my pores more than cost in two days of gentle peeling. It’s a super reset skin in the box.
