“Hello! My name is Schae (@Schaebreezy_) and I am currently a social network manager at Topicals Skin Care. In my spare time, I create content. Combining my passion for visually aesthetically pleasing content and my love of beauty and fashion into one vision.

One of the main reasons I love the beauty space is that I feel that there will always be space to share individual experiences. Being a social media manager also means keeping track of what’s happening in pop culture and in beauty and fashion. The plethora of trends that occur almost every week keeps me on my toes. At the same time, it taught me to find my own ground and a unique approach. As trends come and go, it allows me to assess what works for me and develop my distinctive style. Over the years, I’ve seen and tested these fads, it’s liberating to experiment and find out what I like. It’s a process of accepting and learning that not every trend needs to be implemented into my routine.

I like to try new products. I like my set routine, but when it comes to a new release, sign up.

When it comes to skin care, I’m very happy to have learned more about my skin over the years. I used to dry my skin terribly and thought it solved my skin problems. I am now a big supporter of double cleaning. Right now I’m using Youth To The People Superberry Dream cleansing balm. It removes all makeup and leaves my skin silky. As for the cleanser, I reach for the special Dermologica cleansing gel, which leaves the skin clean but not extremely tight and ready to crack. My toner, which is the holy grail for me, is Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer. If you want to talk about hydration, that’s it. I use it a little to replenish the skin and after use it is immediately soft to the touch. If I want to spray my face quickly and feel fresh, I love Auraiha Naturally Luminous Mist & Set Spray. When my skin is still moist, I use COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Power Essence. This step was essential for working with my dehydrated skin. When I reach for serums, I usually use ones that help with dark spots or textures. I like Eadem Milk Marvel Serum for dark spots, which has significantly improved the overall uniformity of the skin. My favorite to improve the appearance of the small textural bumps that I tend to have is Herbivore Botanicals Bakuchiol Retinol Alternative Smoothing Serum. This serum works beautifully and I feel like I press the reset button when I wake up the next morning. On Klur Immersion Serum Concentrate, it leaves my skin hydrated when I mix it with a few drops of facial oil. I like it because it helps with retaining moisture and living in a state that doesn’t have much moisture is important to lock in every drop of moisture I have. To end the skin care, I will add Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask as a moisturizer.

First of all, I’m a girl with lip gloss. My favorites are Tower 28’s Shine Lip Jelly in Chill and Dior Lip Glow Oil in Raspberry. I love the feeling and appearance of the visible hydration it gives to my lips. My favorite step, eyebrows. If I don’t do any foundation, my eyebrows will be ready. I use NYX Lift & Snatch and put them on the spot with eyebrow gel. I like fluffy eyebrows more than the heavily drawn pomade eyebrows I used to have. At the base, I always find myself going between the Shiseido Synchro Skin Self Refreshing Foundation and the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint. Both have a beautiful surface that wears really well all day. I’ve been driving through the Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer. If I want to give my face a little warmth, I’ll use Juvia’s Place Bronzer in Dark. The formula mixes really well and adds a big dimension to my face. I like to place the blush strategically to play with the shape of the face. The fixture I have in my cosmetic bag is the Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Blush in Grateful. Which is the crazy bright red that looks beautiful when it’s scattered.

My body care routine is constantly evolving for me. I like to feel lenient in my routine, so I tend to use products that have a soothing scent and give me a soothing experience. After a long day, I want my routine to feel like a delicacy compared to a terrible process. Some of my favorites are Necessaire Body Lotion complete with Herbivore Botanicals Jasmine Oil. It smells divine and my skin is super soft to the touch. I also love good body butter and NH DLites whipped butter in vanilla melts easily into the skin.

My hair care routine changes as needed. I have very thick curly hair and I usually want to focus on maintaining moisture. I feel that hair care is an area that I am constantly experimenting with. Some of my favorite products I use in my routine are the Bread Beauty Supply line and the Thai Hair collection from Ouai. They help comb and add life to my curls.

My philosophy of beauty is to do what I feel good about. It’s very easy to wrap up in all the looks and clothes that everyone else has, to the point that you can forget why you love something for yourself. The basis for this is to make sure that I do what is good for me. It is also tied to my spirituality. I really listen to what my inner self needs. If I need a day without makeup and I drop out of the house to concentrate, I’ll honor it. Keeping “beauty” at the end of the day means pouring it back into my cup so I can feel good.

I feel that for myself and others around me, we usually tend to put others first. For me personally, the biggest lesson this year was learning to take care of myself. I usually keep a diary in the morning and evening, I sit still before the day starts, and my mind starts to rush with all the things I need. I have my nails done once or twice a month. Because I use my hands in a lot of videos, it has become a fun part of my routine. For the last 7 years, I’ve been adjusting my eyebrows because I’ve had so many bad experiences that I can now look back on and laugh at. When it comes to decompression, I like to throw the phone aside and play a rom-com / early 21st century movie. I’m absolutely one of those people who can watch a movie marathon that I’ve seen many times. They always inspire me to rethink my approach to style and beauty. ”
